INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

Christian & Missionary Alliance Workers

Our International Workers (IW’s) thrive when we partner with them in their calling!  At May Valley Church we embrace the opportunity to invest in IW’s spiritually, emotionally, and financially. We see benefits within our church body when we step outside our community and expand our worldview. These partnerships help keep us focused as we work together with our IWs to fulfill the Great Commission! May Valley Church partners with the IW’s below.

Bob & Cheryl Fugate, Mexico

Bob & Cheryl have served internationally since 1988. They are currently working in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico with a church planting method of “multi-site churches” which means that it is one church in various places.  They are doing this instead of building one large church, and are planting churches in the different communities where the people are living.  Their vision is
5-5-25, planting 5 churches in Guadalajara & 5 churches in other states by 2025.  As of February 2022, there will be 3 churches planted in Guadalajara, a fourth in the beginning stages in a community of Guadalajara, and two churches are in the starting phases of development.
They want to see Guadalajara and the surrounding states inundated with the message of
hope that only Jesus can give!!

Matt and Teri Perrotto, Envision Miami

Matt and Teri were born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. They chose to raise their family (Alec, Marcus, Ellah, Madelyn and Issac) and build their lives there, until God prompted them to make a change. In 2012 they both started sensing the call of missions from God and two years later they left everything and moved to the Dominican Republic for 2-years with Envision. While in the DR, the entire family participated in many different ministries. In 2016 they moved to Miami to start a new Envision Site where they are currently Site Coordinators.

Pennianah Adongo lives in Lira, Uganda. Her father was a pastor who ran a home for children orphaned by the LRA. In 2003, the LRA murdered him and 63 others. The children escaped into the bush and over the next three months, Penninah found 28 of them and established a home, giving them food, shelter, security and an education. Although Penninah is a trained nurse and a widow herself with her own children, she is raising the children as a family and calls her home the Hope Restoration Center. Penninah also personally cares for 30 widows on a loan program that her sister Anna helps run out of her house. For more information click here
