MAY VALLEY CHURCH
Women's Ministry and CARE Team Event
TIME to CARE
Our May Valley Care Team and our Women's Ministry are joining efforts to prepare food for the needs of our church body.
When you get sick, it's always nice to have a hot meal.
Come join our team to help prepare meals to freeze and be ready for the needs of others.
This will be a great time to unify and also serve others. Our first "Time to Care" event will be Wednesday February 19th from 10am to 2pm.
May Valley Church is hosting a CPR class on
Wednesday, March 19th at 6:30pm.
The class is open to the first 20 participants that register. There are still a few spots available!
To register, e-mail James Ross at welcome@govalley.org.
Please note that this class will not offer CPR certification, but will include all the instruction on CPR/AED use that certified courses cover.
Cost is $30.00.
Bright Hope World
Bright Hope World is a Christian based humanitarian organization with a vision of seeing the poorest of the poor become spiritually and physically self-sustaining. Their mission is to develop and resource partnerships with indigenous people who have a vision to transform their communities. May Valley Church has supported BHW ministries in Peru and Uganda for over 10 years.
Matt and Teri Perrotto, Envision Miami
Matt and Teri were born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. They chose to raise their family (Alec, Marcus, Ellah, Madelyn and Issac) and build their lives there, until God prompted them to make a change. In 2012 they both started sensing the call of missions from God and two years later they left everything and moved to the Dominican Republic for 2-years with Envision. While in the DR, the entire family participated in many different ministries. In 2016 they moved to Miami to start a new Envision Site where they are currently Site Coordinators.

Bob & Cheryl Fugate, Mexico
Bob & Cheryl have served internationally since 1988. They are currently working in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico with a church planting method of “multi-site churches” which means that it is one church in various places. They are doing this instead of building one large church, and are planting churches in the different communities where the people are living. Their vision is
5-5-25, planting 5 churches in Guadalajara & 5 churches in other states by 2025. As of February 2022, there will be 3 churches planted in Guadalajara, a fourth in the beginning stages in a community of Guadalajara, and two churches are in the starting phases of development.
They want to see Guadalajara and the surrounding states inundated with the message of
hope that only Jesus can give!!

Keith & Teri Newburn, Uruguay
Keith and Teri Newburn serve with the C&MA in Montevideo, Uruguay after serving 14 years at the Alliance Academy in Quito, Ecuador. Keith is the International Financial Accountant for the region of Latin America. Teri leads several weekly activities in partnership with the church plant team in Montevideo. Teri also leads a task force called the TCK Advocates to improve the ways that we care for our Third Culture Kids (TCKs).
Our International Workers (IW’s) thrive when we partner with them in their calling! At May Valley Church we embrace the opportunity to invest in IW’s spiritually, emotionally, and financially. We see benefits within our church body when we step outside our community and expand our worldview. These partnerships help keep us focused as we work together with our IWs to fulfill the Great Commission! May Valley Church partners with the IW’s below.
